Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 in 1983) is a well-known American actor. She is most famously known for her role was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington, Ohio to live with her family in Los Angeles. Though she struggled financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's primary character. In 2002, she was awarded a Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role as Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to win. Grace left the show in order to concentrate on her acting career. She had appeared alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. The following year, she starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She reprised the role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised Shannon's role in Lost for two episodes. This included the final episode of the series. In 2013 she appears in Season 6 of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie, and also her muse to the stars, who catches the interest of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. The actress also starred on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performance in the erotic romantic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and in the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) each of which brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006 including World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). In recognition of her role as an unmarried mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Her other characters include as a secret agent of Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared singing in Frank 2014 and also in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, in which she plays the main role. Gyllenhaal began her professional career as a screenwriter and director in 2021, when she wrote and directed the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter. The film won Best Screenplay at the Venice International Film Festival, and it was nominated by The Academy Award. Academy Award.
