MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued in 2017 by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. He then was a part of Ozuna on their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is made available in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album that year. In 2021, he sang the duet to TINI's smash track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which included the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, as both his mother & older brother are professional musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. The first choice for his career was to be a vet However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he found his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
